That's up to game developers and Nintendo! Since the vast majority of my videogaming these days is handheld, I can't wait for the Switch to have games I want to play. No football (need a bit more realistic than Mutant League), no baseball (other than the universally panned RBI) and no hockey. Also no Burnout or GTA type games. I had such high hopes for the Switch, but still the library of games for the Vita is better for me than the Switch.

Not as good as auto sync on Xbox, but better than how it works on ps4.
I think the digital game management is the issue - but I think it works similarly to steam. You can play it on your main console, you can play on another console with your account so long as it is online, which I have done and works.
But supposedly only one user can play the game at a time, similar to steam (though I haven't tested this part of it.) So if you play on a non primary and another user wants to play at the same time on your primary - it won't work because only one person can use the game at a time.Comment

The save syncing works decently as is now - if you have each switch set to upload to cloud, it is done so automatically from each console. All you have to do when moving to another one is go into data management for a user and choose download all saves (or specify the one you want.)

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I don't get buying the Lite simply because you haven't docked the original in a long time. To even have the option to dock it is reason why i'd stick with it over the Switch Lite. It seems like a downgrade for current Switch owners."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

I feel like this is what you buy for your small child when you don't want them to break your grown up switch.
I'm still buying though lol

Yeah...it's not for more hardcore users. It's the 3DS replacement. Which is awesome, cause it does confirm that Nintendo will have to give us more games on Switch because there's no 3DS to take devs away.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I'm not sure but I'd definitely consider getting the lite for my daughter. My son has the regular Switch. If my daughter continues her interest in the system, I'd grab her the lite and call it a day.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Is there any information out there about how the like/boo system works across different modes in Mario Maker 2?
Like, say I'm playing multiplayer VS and get a music or an "auto-mario" level where you either run in a straight line or do nothing at all. If I boo that level after the "race" is over, does that hurt its standing in only VS mode, or does it affect it in all modes? Reason I'm asking is that I don't necessarily think those levels are bad and wouldn't boo them just because they're that type of level, I just don't want to be seeing them in multiplayer.Comment

You should be able to rate a level on how well of a multiplayer level it is. That shouldn’t affect its rating as a normal level.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Docking is not an option for me anymore.
I never bought the Switch for docking. Did it like three times and never enjoyed it that way. My Switch is for traveling in handheld.
I don't co-play. I also find the larger unit a bit uncomfortable to hold but I've put up with it.
Having something smaller and less expensive makes more sense for me if I can sell my current one for $200 or more otherwise I'll just keep the Switch I have.
I'm a special case in that sense. I wouldn't buy it without selling my original. I honestly don't see the appeal in buying a Switch Lite if you already own a Switch and use it in both modes and enjoy the full experience. That's just a waste of money in my opinion.Last edited by CMH; 07-16-2019, 07:46 AM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Picked up Dragon Quest Builders 2 yesterday after playing the demo a few days ago. Absolutely a perfect fit for the Switch. It's also available for the PS4 (slightly better performance and visuals), but can't beat the portability. What an excellent, fun, and humorous RPG style game. Think Minecraft esque looking but with unique characters and story telling. It'll definitely hold me over until Animal Crossing comes out next spring.
