It's not stupid, but could be a costly decison if a year from now you have an urge to play some 3DS games and you have to re-purchase a system and the games. Just be 100% sure you have no interest in playing the 3DS again before making a move like that.

I nearly traded in my Vita when GameStop had its trade-in bonus a couple of weeks ago, but decided against it because I couldn't say with certainty that I'd never use the handheld again.

I totally understand you, but many of the games we had on the 3DS were rehashes of WiiU games or similar types (Lego games, Smash Bros., PES 2013), and they were starting to collect dust a bit in our house. Nothing really pulling me to play on it like I had in the past.

I priced everything out on GameStops website, and I could get just over $500 for everything. Think I'm going to pull the trigger tomorrow.

I would do it and just say no rebuying 3DS...no being like FootballForever with consoles.

IMO Switch is a better (albeit bigger, so not as simple to carry) portable with way better games...in quality...quantity will come with time.

Just a heads up. It looks like target still has the bundle in stock online. It's 499 and it come with Zelda, Mario Kart, and a controller.

Yeah, it's not going to be on the level of MLB The Show, but could be a fun pick up and play game. I like that it has a season mode and from the sounds of those that have played the game, the series has shown some gradual improvements.

My only issue with RBI is the fact that it's $10 more than the PS4/XB1 version.

RBI on switch is great to scratch that baseball itch now that I've gotten rid of my PS4, as the show was the only reason I was hanging on to it in first place. I know it's not nearly as great but great to play a fun game of baseball and not get bogged down in the sometimes complicated hitting of the show, especially when gaps in play time to readjust timing

Just trading everything in I was planning to, and after bonuses and such, came to $588 credit. Got a neon bundle, and was told I can return the other stuff towards games I actually want.

Going to return 2 of the games for NBA 2k18 and Fifa 18 pre-orders.

I play mostly online with it. Haven't even touched single player yet. I'm not an online gamer but I love how this game plays. It's not as serious as a normal "shooter"
