I think I might opt for this solution either way

It's a pro controller that latches to the switch like the joycons do

    Should've been their original plan

Don't think they make them but it's officially licensed by nintendo

In all seriousness, I have a five game backlog for this gen pre-2019 which isn't bad at all since it was in the 20's going into 2018. As for 2019, once I complete GreedFall, I'll play through Ultimate Alliance 3, Astral Chain, Link's Awakening, Wolfenstein Youngblood and hopefully Control by the time COD MW releases. Of course, I would still have GR Breakpoint, The Surge 2 and Code Vein. Plus The Outer Worlds, Jedi Fallen Order, Doom Eternal and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts after COD MW.

      Yeah, backlogs are freaking horrible!!!
Backlogs first word problems lol. I think my over all backlog is like 30+ games. I dont think I will ever not have one. Just not enough free time being a grown up. I also forgot I have hat in time comming out in October. I normally get games that are on all systems on ps4 has I dont have a xbox and of course switch is under powered. So I like to get the better looking version but Hat in time only got a digital release on ps4 and I like to have a physically version of ever game and the switch is getting that.

Do you consider your backlog to be any game you haven’t finished or any game you haven’t finished that you actually intend to? If is the former, 97% of the games I buy are in my backlog. Lol

Picked up “Link’s Awakening today. I’ve NEVER played a Zelda game on any legacy Nintendo platform. BotW was the only Zelda experience I have. So far, maybe 30-45 mins, “Link’s Awakening” is more my speed than BotW.

I've only played and completed one Zelda game ever, and that was Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES. Been 20 years since I beat it. I remember it being a great game.

Backlog for me are games that I want to play and complete but haven't due to time or new games being released that I want to play more. Thankfully, I have only three games pre-2019 that are in my backlog. I do have four games from the summer that are in my backlog but they will be played and completed before the year ends.

With a little bit of luck and determination, I should be able to go into 2020 with only two games in my pre-2020 backlog - RDR 2 and GR Breakpoint.

After my ten day vacation that starts after tomorrow once I leave work, I'll be very busy working and won't have the time to play games like I normally do so I'll be playing mostly the shorter and linear games for the rest of the year. Will try to eliminate one of those two backlogged games before TLOUP2 and the onslaught of late winter/early spring games release.

As for Link's Awakening, I thought that I would be able to start it Friday but still playing GreedFall. Hoping to start it Monday and have next week to play through it as I loved Link to the Past.

lol while that goes together for me. If I own a game I plain on beating it unless its a game that is so hard I known I may never be able to beat it. Right now I am having a hard time with Astral chain. I got stuck on file 9 Jena Boss fight 2 for like 13 hours of game time no joke. I finally just got passed that last 2 nights ago but now I am at a part that may be even harder lol.

I have beaten 8 Zelda games its my all time favorite video game franchise but I have beaten 9 ratchet and clank games though so its my second most beaten franchise. Ratchet is my second favorite franchise. Link to the past was my first Zelda game I played and also beat and its still my 4th favorite Zelda game. So its still pretty high on my list. It and super Mario world on SNES where like the first 2 video games that really got me into video games.

I’ve heard/read “Astral Chain” a lot since coming back on Monday. Might be something to check out.

It's said to be very good. I own it but won't be playing it for at least a few more weeks. First up for Switch is Link's Awakening then Ultimate Alliance 3 and then Astral Chain.

                      I’m enjoying Link’s Awakening a good bit.

The dungeons in Link's Awakening are no joke. I've had to restart a couple of them because I didn't open the doors/locks in the proper order and wound up getting stuck. The boss fights, though, have been a little underwhelming.

Agree with everything said. I have completed the first two dungeons. Did you get stuck on the Grotto dungeon and had no keys? If so, it wasn't because you had no keys. I got stuck on this for about an hour and finally passed it mostly by accident. LOL.

I try myself for a while on things, but my time is so limited that I can't just get stuck for hours like I used to. I'll gladly search Google to save my sanity/time.
