From what i saw, all you need is usb to usb-c adapter... small, tiny and cheap. I have one that came with a samsung phone here, and you can plug a wired pro controller into it, and voila

Halfway through Ultimate Alliance 3 and it's pretty good outside of the horrible camera. It is a lot of fun to play and im enjoying the story and characters thus far. Overall, a good game.

Finished MUA 3. Overall, good 7.0/10 game and filler/stopgap between last year's Spider Man and 2020's Avengers. Gameplay was average with a horrible camera. Visuals were solid as was the audio. Story and all the characters were enjoyable.

Next weekend will be Astral Chain time!!!

MUA is a D+ game to me. Feels like a mess (camera, AI teammates), salvaged only in part by the IP it's based off of. Graphics look muddy due to platform limitations.

I never played the first two games so I can't compare it to them but on it's own, it's a 7/10 at best. Too many issues. Camera is beyond horrible. AI teammates weren't as bad as I thought they would be but the bigger issue was at times, you can't see your character or what you're doing. So many attacks I was doing did nothing because I was facing the wrong way but couldn't see that. No lock on was also a disappointment because that could have only helped. Combat was basic and generic. It's good for what it is but that's it.

Have you played Astral Chain? That looks real good and Platinum has great combat so im expecting a great game.

Anyone play “Pillars of Eternity”? I bought it Tuesday night but haven’t started playing yet.

Other than Stardust Valley - are there any other similar farming/home-life "simulations?" Looking for something fun and stress-free. Stardust is great, but not exactly a relaxing game at times lol.

So I bought a Switch lite. It's Turquoise and comes with Mario kart. Looking forward to finally trying this system.

Haven't had nintendo anything since the Wii.

Question? Can I play any switch game on the lite?

For the most part. I think there are maybe 3-4 games that can’t be played. Can’t recall what they are though because they were games I wouldn’t have played anyway. Haha

Anything I need to know. I've heard nothing but good things about this system. I'm happy to just get the handheld version. But I'm excited. Mario Kart and Smash are two of my favorite games. I've been talking about doing this for years. But finally pulled the trigger.

                        I can recommend a few games -

                        1) The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake (think SNES Link to the Past. Great old school overhead hack and slash adventure game)

                        2) Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (if you're a fan of turn based strategy RPG's with some exploration, you may like Kingdom Battle. Great game with a great combat system. Hoping for Ubisoft to announce a sequel at E3 2020)

                        3) Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (great 2D platformer)

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a good 2D platformer but DKC TF is easily better. Worth a playthrough but not if you have to choose it over DKC TF. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is also good and a solid filler until next year's Marvel Avengers game.

Will start Astral Chain tomorrow and have read/heard mostly positive things. Will post impressions Sunday night.

I played My Time in Portia on Xbox One, but it's on Switch too. It's more of an indie, but you have to mine, build stuff, can plant things, do quests, etc. It was fun until I got distracted by other games. I'd look into it. It's definitely not as polished as some games, but it was fun.

I keep meaning to play that and its sequel on PC - I Backed the first one and bought its sequel when it was cheap during a steam sale. I've started it many times but always end up getting pulled away by something else.

I wonder how well it translated over - lots of point-and-clicking that I didn't think would go over well on a console (granted, I thought the same about Diablo 3 too).
