Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
So I can’t just copy all the saves and stuff from one switch to the other ??
I don’t really care about playing the same game at the same time.
More like both kids are in the car. One is playing smash Bros, one is playing odyssey and they can each play the games where they have been left off.....
Or is that not possible ?
Or is this overkill ?
Should just get them a DS to pair with the switch ?
But then I’d have to buy all new games for the DS, when they already ha e a solid lineup of games on the switch.....
Don’t know what to do here.....
Answer.
I’ve watched numerous YouTube videos on this....
So, supposedly if you have physical games your better off. ?
All of my games are physical except for the classic nes/classic snes games.
You can make one switch primary and one switch (the switch lite) secondary.
Games saves are saved on a cloud ? So what one kid does on Luigi’s Manson on one switch will save to another ?
I don’t really care for them to both play the same game at
The same time. More so just what they progress in a game on one system will be awaiting them on the other system or vice versa....
Does this make sense ?Comment

I think what you are looking for is a little 1/2 way through video (about saves)

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I played this several months ago on PS4 and despite being a huge Ubisoft fan, I quit it after a few hours. Story and characters is fine from what I played but the gameplay and combat is literally the same thing all the time. Every game is repetitive but Starlink may take it to a whole new level. Plus, you're in your ship literally ALL the time. There's no ground on foot combat at all. Game should have been an actual StarFox game, a Switch exclusive and included on foot ground combat. Then, maybe the game would have been great.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I have it on switch normally i don't get games on switch unless its a exclusive but because of the star fox stuff you get on the switch i got it for switch. I beat the game and i think it is a good game and it fells like starfox game even if it is not star fox. On ground foot combat i say no that is not star fox like glad that was not a thing. We dont seem to see eye to eye though. I loved astral chain like favorite game of 2019 and you didn't finish that either lol.
I agree that Starlink does in fact feel like it was meant to be a StarFox game and it should have been. The on foot ground combat may not fit in with StarFox but StarFox was always a linear based game. Not a massive Ubisoft open world and ground combat would have at least changed it up a little bit.
Astral Chain looked great, had great music, wasn't really into the story/characters all that much, didn't like the "legion" aspect in regards to that you don't fight with it as you just give it commands and the worst part which completely turned me off was being a silent protagonist despite the fact that the brother/sister has voice acting as an AI NPC. Makes no sense.
Of course, im not a fan of Platinum Games. Nier Automata was the only game from them that I have ever completed and even then, I only went through it once.
Without playing it though, I can see that Fire Emblem Three Houses is probably going to end up being the Switch game of the game. Astral Chain would probably be second.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
3 Houses is definitely my game if the year. I’ve played through all routes as female Byleth and currently playing through them all as male Byleth. The goal is to finish it all by Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Nier Automata is the only Platinum game that I actually enjoyed. The few others I played, I quit after a few hours. Astral Chain was more of bad timing. Played it after Link's Awakening which has no voice acting and was waiting for The Outer Worlds for PS4 which has a silent protagonist so for me, it's simply a major negative and turn off for me in general. Fire Emblem was of interest to me as an exploration/turn based strategy RPG ala Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Mutant Year Zero but once all that school stuff was introduced and a few other things when doing more research on the game, I was out. lmao.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Combined sales of the original Switch and Switch Lite were at over 830,000 units during Thanksgiving week, Nintendo has announced. The company’s internal data accounts for the period between November 24 and November 30. Thanks to those huge sales, Switch experienced its single best week of U.S. sales in Switch history. Over 2 1/2 years since release, no sales whatsoever and Switch is still on fire. Can't wait to see what their total sales numbers are for the month of November.Comment
