Geoff Keighley says Scorpio will be $499.

The high end of what I'm willing to pay, but not completely surprising if true.

I call staged and think it will come in at $399. I still question the true power of this box, especially if it goes for that low. If it is $499 or higher, then that would ease my concerns a bit. Either way, I just want all Xbox titles on PC. Would be even better if they could get all 3rd party games there as well.

Two things will make me "want" a scorpio

The new third person open world game from the developer of forza horizon being announced as a launch title

Forza 7 being a launch title and having day and night cycles like project cars

One thing will make me buy day one...

400 price tag

Forza 7 is late September/early October. Don't know about the day and night cycles but Forza Horizon 3 had day/night cycles so it's a good bet.

The open world new IP from Playground Games will not be at E3. They just opened a second studio and haven't even started full development according to those on neogaf who know more than me and trust me, I asked a bunch of times and was hoping. Maybe a teaser trailer at E3 2018 if we're lucky.

Still believe $400 for the base. $500 for Xbox One four years ago was overpriced and was one of the reasons why Microsoft is being outsold 2 to 1. I would be dumbfounded if they make the same mistake twice in the same generation.
