They have Bleem working on it and it looks like Retroarch soon.. As soon as it's a smooth process I'll probably grab one.

BestBuy is offering it with a $25 gift card. You should be able to get them to price match Target's sale price of $75...effectively making it $50 + tax.

At that price, I would purchase.

Just got back. Pricematched with no problem with $25 giftcard.

            Huh?

All I heard was a lot of the games are the PAL version, which causes some performance issues on our NTSC television sets.

I don't know if anyone is aware, but there are a number of different places including Amazon and Best Buy selling these things for $30 now. Considering how easy it is to add more games to these things now, that price is a steal.

It's still better than paying the original launch price.

I feel bad for anyone who spent $40 and up on it.

Well of course its better than the original launch price, but it still doesn't mean that its worth $20, especially when the thing doesn't come with a power pack.

That and the fact that the reviews of the stuttering/laggy gameplay and you have something that easily comes across as a pure money grab from Sony.

I watched a YouTuber's review a while back, and he noted the sluggish controls likely stems from a lot of the games being the PAL version instead of the NTSC version. Different native framerate than our televisions (50Hz vs. 60Hz).
