Anybody else having trouble with their controllers, all of a sudden my X1 controllers wont stay connected

I had an issue once and figured out it was my lithium battery pack after I used regular double a batteries and didn’t have problems

That doesn't mean it can't be batteries. Interference could do it too, but I'd hope it's just the batteries.

I recently bought an Xbox Elite controller. It keeps turning off after about 5 minutes of usage. Brand new rechargeable battery, but it continues to do it. I switched battery to the standard controller and that works just fine. What a shame because the Elite controller is the best one I’ve ever used.

I recently bought an Xbox Elite controller. It keeps turning off after about 5 minutes of usage. Brand new rechargeable battery, but it continues to do it. You need to exchange that Elite asap before the 90 day warranty runs out.

X1 controller keeps disconnecting

Do you think it’s an actual defect or is this common? From what I’ve read online, it sounds like it could be people’s wireless routers that interfere with the connection. I’ll either exchange it for a new one or get my money back.

I've never heard of it, it's not right, it's not common, you should at least replace it. If the second one does the same then yeah maybe it is interference but I bet your second one will not do it.

If you're under warranty you should get it fixed as well. That's not something one should just accept as normal; I wouldnt
