Pretty annoyed right now with how buggy the PS5 is at launch. We had two hard crashes yesterday requiring rebuilds and my NBA 2K wouldn’t instal right. Left it in rest mode and still crap. Had to delete it this morning and re-try. AC Valhalla got hung up at the end of its patch and had to delete it and re download.

I know it’s a new system but I’ve never had these issues in any other launch ever. PS1 to PS5 this is a bit frustrating.

Damn, I’ve only had 2 instances so far and both have been sound related. I also noticed my ps5 was asking me to buy miles Morales even though it was already purchased so I noticed that. Hopefully you don’t have a faulty unit and these things could be fixed with an update.

I just want to play NBA 2K with my Pistons right now. Early morning before work is my primary gaming time and it’s wasted lol. After work I will be scrapping for gaming time with my kids lol.

Other than NBA 2K taking forever to install from the disc, it has been pretty flawless. Games and the systems are becoming more complex than ever.. the bugs will be worked out. I have always said, if you come into a launch expecting a perfect experience, you will be let down. This is why some people wait to grab consoles vs launch. I am a PC gamer, I am used to software/hardware issues lol.

So please note that when buying a cross gen game like Spider Man or COD Cold war that is also on PS4. When downloading the game the PS5 installs both versions.

Many were asking me why on their PS5 COD Cold war the 120hz was not visible. And that is because it defaults to playing the ps4 base game. You must hit the 3 little dots next to play and select the version you wish to play. Or better yet, just delete the base ps4 version.

That’s good to know. And yea they definitely need to patch some things up. My Miles Morales was installed yesterday yet it wouldn’t let me play it and asking me to buy it again.

I game share with my son on our PS4’s. With me moving to PS5 today and my son still on PS4 I want to buy COD and NBA2K21 and was wondering will we still be able to game share? Do I have to buy a PS4 and PS5 copies of the games?

Yes, I've seen videos (including that one), but I didn't know if they were using their own capturing device or the PS5's internal capturing system.

Yes you can.

“In order to game share, console share, and set a primary PS5 on PS5, you need to hit X on the settings icon at the top of the UI. From there, go to the ‘Users And Accounts’ setting and hit X again. Scroll down to ‘Other’ and ‘Console Sharing and Offline Play’ and hit X again. The next screen will allow you to Disable or Enable your PS5 as a primary PS5 and game share and console share with other accounts.”

Its not gameshare PS5 to PS5. My son is keeping his PS4. I thought I needed to buy an upgraded version on PS5 of COD in order to get the PS4 and PS5 version.

My son has an Arctic Steelseries 7 wireless headset. It’s been great but it hasn’t been working with the PS5 despite the fact it is on the compatible headset list. Turns out all the USB hubs on the PS5 don’t work the same. There was a tip on Reddit that plugging the USB dongle into one of the back ports helps get rid of the cut outs and issues. And it worked! So for any of you having issues with a PS5 headset and have a USB dongle try plugging into the back. Also, i have an external drive plugged in the back and that could be an issue but I left it in next to the dongle and no issues now.

Good to know thanks for the heads up! I don't have a PS5 yet but I have the Steel Series 7 as well
