Can anyone comment on their impressions of the Sony 3D headset? I have it coming in the mail this week.

Had been hearing all the hype about it and I just tried mine out for a couple games of COD and the hype is real imo. A little tight but I expected that feeling coming right out the box. It sounds better than the Golds which I thought was a decent $100 headset.

        Spider-Man PS4 Pro vs. PS5.

I'm sorry to keep doing this, but are those "I can't distinguish 30 vs. 60 FPS" folk truly unable to notice between the left two shots and the rightmost one in this small comparison segment?

You will have to make sure you're on a video setting that allows 60 FPS (meaning anything 720p or above). I can't guarantee that a YouTube phone app will properly show 60 FPS, but computers shouldn't have a problem.

Well the post was just going to be about the PS4 vs. PS5 comparison video, but then I found out it was posted five days ago and assumed everyone had seen it. So I edited my post and gave it a new purposes heh, but since I don't know whether or not it was posted I'll edit that part back in.

It does baffle me if it can't be seen though. Whether it's appreciated or not is an entirely different conversation.

I was called a ***** because people said they see no difference, but the energy is so different once the consoles came out and now all you hear on Twitter from PS5 owners is that it is magical the 60fps upgrade.

Other than the graphics I don’t see a difference in the frame rate in that video.

Thanks for the feedback. To clarify, the left two are both at 30 FPS and the right one is at 60. Just wanted to make sure you weren't comparing left versus middle only, for example.

I struggle to tell the difference watching videos. It’s a lot easier when I play a game and see it myself. The silky smoothness of 60 FPS is pretty easy to tell. I remember the debates over NCAA Football on Xbox vs PS3 due to frame rate and it was easy to see it.

The fidelity mode is nice, but the moment I switched to performance which is 60fps I instantly noticed the change. The difference isNight and day smooth.

Demon's Souls does something similar - a "cinematic mode" that locks to 30 FPS. Looks very pretty (and the reviews mention the ability to switch on the fly to take screenshots and such as a plus), but this game is definitely better when experienced at 60 FPS.

That wasn't what I was doing at all. I was genuinely appreciative that he responded to the question. I'm just making sure he wasn't comparing two things that were 30 FPS.

One cool thing, at least I think, as a non-owner of a PS5 at the moment, is that on the PS4 dashboard I can see which of my friends are playing a game on the PS4 and which are playing on the PS5 by the icon next to the game.

                              Pretty cool
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

After playing a little bit of Spider-Man Remastered, I definitely prefer the Performance mode. It's something you have to feel more than seeing in a video. It just feels so much smoother and more responsive compared to 30fps. Outside of Ray Tracing, the visuals looks as good for me. Plus, I'm not going to stare into reflections like that anyway
