I normally would keep the PS4 save files onto a flash drive and if I need them, I have them. I don't replay games either. The Witcher III is the lone exception for the current generation. Game Installs should definitely be a lot quicker but I am hoping that it installs the entire game.
I hate starting a PS4 game at times after installing it and on the title screen, it says "wait for the game to be fully installed" or some crap like that. I had that with so many games, mainly EA and Square Enix. It's so annoying because every game is automatically installed onto the HDD/SSD so why it doesn't install the entire game sometimes is beyond me.
Agree with the second paragraph. A game like Miles Morales would probably just be the entire game being installed. There's no co-op or multi-player so I don't see there being any option for a game like that. For sports games and others, then there should be an option to choose what you want to download.
I'm still waiting for the tear down as well as the UI. I do see Sony showing the UI but until they actually do it, im not expecting a tear down less than two months from launch. Sony doesn't have to do it. I hope they do but im not expecting to see a tear down until after the console launches and Digital Foundry does it on their own.
