I really enjoyed the atmosphere and story of Fable 2 tbh, 3 did nothing for me.

Halo is the only shooter I think I would play online. I played and loved the first 3 then I kind of fell off. I like the Infinite trailer. State of Decay 3 looks intriguing.

Messaging is everything. I like the focus on games. I have a good feeling that I'll be splitting my game time more evenly between the consoles going forward. It looks like there will be a good mixture of single player experiences, which is my wheelhouse.

Overall, it was okay. Nothing special or unexpected. Wished they showed more gameplay. But I do like seeing that there were several games that weren't going to Xbox One.

It sounds like Halo won't have Ray tracing at launch.

They showed plenty for me. The Xbox ecosystem has been fantastic for the last couple years, and taking GPU into next gen looks like it’s still the perfect balance for me. I play mostly sports games, so all those Gamepass games provide easy ways to play other stuff, while also providing biannual updates to the Forza titles.

I probably play far more FH, but going every other year is perfect for me. And I don’t have to spend any money on them. My GPU sub was extended through mid 2022 or something.

I think Psychonauts 2, Avowed, and State of Decay 3 all looked like great games that I will play without spending anymore money. Throw in Halo, Forza, Gears, and the return of Fable, and owning an Xbox and spending $120 a year on GP is an insane value.

And they didn’t hardly even mention xCloud, which could give Xbox a Switch-like portability, included GPU. Still need to see it in action, though.

I don’t know if it’s wow worthy, but the ecosystem I like seems like it will be better, and even a better value. That’s a win.

I'm an Xbox only person(PlayStation exclusives don't appeal to me at all) so I'm already all in, but if I wasn't, Avowed and Fable alone would be system sellers for me in the way that Morrowind and KOTOR were for the OG Xbox. Throw in everything else we saw today all as well as the unseen games from inXile and The Initiative all on Game Pass and I'm beyond ecstatic.

Overall, a 7.5/10 showcase for me. Same as the PS5 event in June. Biggest complaint is once again the same as what it's been for this entire year - minimal to no gameplay.

Halo Infinite didn't blow me away but I did like what I saw and will play it via Game Pass. Seemed like it's being rushed and should be delayed but I understand why they're not delaying it. Gameplay looked good. But visually, it was disappointing plus it's an on-going campaign which turns me off.

Other games I was interested in were Everwild, Hellblade 2 and Fable but no gameplay whatsoever. Very disappointing. No interest in Forza Motorsport 8 but Spencer saying "early in development concerns me" despite not being a fan. Like, what has Turn 10 been doing for the last 3 years? For what we all know would be a showcase title didn't showcase anything, at least for me especially since it was "in-engine".

Avowed has my interest but barely anything shown from it yet still more gameplay than those four previous games I mentioned. Too many AA and Indie titles which im just not into it and not what I want to see on a major showcase. A bunch of them should have been in the pre-show.

It seems like the entire showcase was about Halo Infinite but it looked rough and like an older build and that they didn't want any other game to overshadow it. The entire showcase was literally a Game Pass show which is fine but majority of games shown isn't what the majority of fans and gamers want to see. It just isn't.

Wish they showed like 30 seconds of gameplay of Fable. Just the protagonist walking around in that world in-game would have made me happy because that trailer looked great.

Xbox Series X will still be day one and will be my primary gaming console but overall, thus far, neither brand or next gen console has impressed me thus far.

In fairness, I will say that im not expecting to be impressed until 2022 or beyond.
