I'm not even attempting to buy an Xbox, I'm in here to see how smoothly the release has gone compared to the PS5 debacle. What exactly are you in here for other then to make posts that add nothing to this? Get back to school? I'm 39 and at work currently so not sure what "school" you're referencing but I suggest you move on at this point.

I understand the current circumstances, but these online preorders simply aren't the best options.

I said nothing offensive in my original post. You didn't need to respond to it. I was simply saying that it surprises me how many people are trying to purchase a console.

$500 isn't really a lot of money in the grand scheme of things.

If you had actually said it like that but you didn't.
You worded it in a totally different "attitude"

"It actually blows my mind that so many people have 500 bucks to blow on a game console. To hell with buying gas with that money, bills, groceries etc. Let's buy a game console. SMH."

So yeah you insinuated everyone was blowing off other necessities for a game system.

I'm sure many are trying to buy them, but I'm sure a lot of this mayhem are also bots.

Many people are most likely putting this on credit cards..

So after all of that, it looks like preordering the new Xbox wasn’t any more smoother than preordering the PS5. Anyway, I hope everybody that was trying to get one was able to secure one.

Microsoft store finally worked for me took forever, but got the order number and email confirmation, and I highly doubt MS will cancel orders.

Hate how much I got through to final place order and get denied (Walmart, Target)

I got luck with Target this time. Took me a lot of refreshes, but I finally got it to go through.

My intention certainly wasn't meant to insult anyone. After reading it again, I still don't see it as an insult. However, if I offended anyone, I apologize lol. I'm surprised how many people are spending 500 bucks on a console these days. Surely that sounds better.

it's all the sites and the stress traffic too. I get it, as a developer it's so hard to have a site that normally doesn't have this craziness and then handle a ton of people at once.

I don't know why Amazon and BB were waiting tho, odd.
