I repeat do not underestimate the X being widely available to pre order

PS5 and X will sell out quickly because enthusiasts buy consoles first

The X will sell out quickly on Tuesday so make sure you secure your pre order on the time it goes live

Do not think you can just do it later in the day or the next day

Same for the S series

Oh, I 100% agree...i'm just hoping it'll be a bit easier to get one for half an hour or so

I'm with you man. I'm about as nervous as the Browns being down 1 with 1 second to go trying to kick a 15 yard FG to win.

Luckily, im a 49ers fan. (exclude week 1 of course, lol)

Someone in the PS5 thread made a good point, now that we know an exact date and time, scalpers and bots will be ready. Not sure if there is any way to manage this.

Am sure if you are ready when it goes live you will get it somewhere. Just follow these steps

Have your pc or laptop on Amazon

Have your best buy mobile app ready on your phone

If you have a tablet have it ready at target

Do that and I guarantee you that you will get one of those at the time pre orders go live

As long as some piece of **** scalper using a bot doesn’t screw you over.

Just had this happen with the PS5 at Walmart. All I had to do was click 2 buttons and even that didn’t work.

After today’s debacle with the 3080 graphics cards and then seeing Walmart announce a specific time for the ps5 preorders amd them disappear in seconds I can see Xbox’s release being just as bad with the scalpers and bots. I personally think the safest bet is since the preorders start during the day might be better to go in person to Best Buy or another store and do the pre order in person. That will guarantee you get it. With Microsoft giving a specific time for pre orders I can see the bots ruining that as well.

Unfortunately the closest Best Buy to me is an hour away. The only major retailer in my town is Walmart. We do have a Gamestop, but I don't know if they are doing in-person pre-orders.

I just have to hope I get lucky. I'm somewhat less nervous now since I was actually able to get a PS5 in my cart and got to the point of just having to click the pay button to get it, but decided to wait for the Series X like I planned. So hopefully someone who actually wanted the system got the one I didn't get.

I hop so, but I’m not holding my breath. I had a PS5 in my cart at Walmart the second they went live last night and had all my info pre-loaded so all I had to do was click two buttons...and I still didn’t get one.

Apparently the XBOX isn’t as popular in the bot community as someone mentioned in the PS5 thread, so hopefully it stays that way.

Good move in my opinion. Now if only they can slow down these bot pieces of crap and all will be well.
