I heard that none of the big stores(Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc) will be allowing purchases of consoles in store on release day, but would be selling some online, of course in limited quantities, so who knows, maybe a few of us can luck out and buy one online if you happen to catch that small window of opportunity. Unfortunately I'm stuck at home for 9 more days from COVID-19 so maybe it's a blessing in disguise and I might luck out and be able to buy one online since I'll just be sitting at home and I can keep refreshing the screen every few seconds. Sounds pretty sad and desperate, but then again so am I right now lol. Cant go to work, cant go anywhere, so what else is there to do right now anyways ??

TY man, much appreciated. Health is far more important than a console, sometimes we lose focus of what's important.....I know I do from time to time and need a reminder that my needs far outweigh my wants. I appreciate the well wishes

I think the main reason I'm trying to find a PS5 before Christmas is that I know my 12 year old really wants one, but he absolutely would never ask for one. Hes so hard to shop for because he never asks for anything, and if i ask him what he wants for his birthday or Christmas, he always tells me he doesn't need anything. I let him borrow my phone from time to time for him to play a game or get on YouTube and I noticed hes been watching a ton of PS5 videos and I seen hes also been researching on the console, a couple of the windows on my phone that were opened had PS5 specs and ray tracing googled, so I know hes interested in one even if he wont tell me.

Sure, I would absolutely love to have one, any guy who is into gaming would be lieing if he said he wouldnt want a PS5, but from a personal standpoint, I'm more than fine waiting on one, there are no 'must have' games coming out in the next few months that I cannot live without, that and I have a moderate sized backlog of games on PS4 and XB1 that I still need to finish playing thru, which I imagine will take 3 more months or so. I'm good with waiting and I know hes not expecting a PS5, which is why I think I want to find one right now so bad. If I dont find one before Christmas, I promise it wont be from a lack of trying.

I did mention in a previous post that I heard that purchasing a Playstation 5 online on launch day would be an option but I didnt have any specifics on it, only hearsay so I truly appreciate the link, which provided me with much more detail as to which retailers would be doing launch day online sales. Sounds like Walmart will be our best opportunity as they have told us the windows that the consoles will go on sale online, however more people will know this so I expect a flood of potential buyers will be crashing their webpage November 12th. I'll likely attempt anyways to go thru Walmart at the given time frames to try to purchase, and in between these windows I'll probably alternate between Target, Amazon, and Best Buy. I will still be stuck in quarantine on the 12th so honestly I have nothing better to do. Doesn't mean I'll have any luck, and if I dont, life goes on and I'll just have to wait like many others will.

Probably around that midnight to 0200 hours. It’s going to be a shot in the dark though. You can never know with these retailers.

The Walmart release says sales start noon ET tomorrow, with releases every 3 hours.

I like that.. in theory. I would like to hear that the other big retailers would do the same, but I'm not betting on it.

Best Buy hasnt released any info for online sales, Target says they will sell online but didnt specify what time. Walmart is doing sales every 3 hours starting at noon Eastern time

Newegg and Gamestop are already sold out. (Gamestops bundles were outrageous anyway..)

Best Buy hasn't gone live yet, from what I can tell.

Costco doesn't even have it posted.

.. What a $h!t show. Not sure MLBtS in legit 4k is worth all this.

Sams site finally came back on and my PS5 was removed

And they are officially out of stock.
