Well like I said ratchet and clank not getting a update for has long has it did made it so launch window was like out of the door but I was still hoping for like may but may would be to close to Returnal I guess. Hopefully we get a date for Kenna now has it was said like just a week ago that it was still on track for q1 2021 but we are like half way threw q1 and we have not gotten a date yet. Spiderman 2 in September 2022 I think makes a lot of sense it will be 4 years from the first game then and it would be almost 2 years from first game to mm and from mm to spiderman 2. I am also looking forward to odd world soulstorm and that is supposed to be spring and heard we may get a date really soon and scarlet nexus I am looking forward to a lot looks a lot like astro chain one of my favorite switch games and its supposed to be summer. I just really hope we get Horizon FW this year next year is to Long to wait.

Ratchet being in June is a good spot. There's nothing really confirmed for June so it could have a lot of space for itself to do very well. The only negative is that with PS5 being difficult to buy due to the shortages, it could take a hit in sales when it launches but we'll see.

Kena seems to be a summer game. I would be very surprised if it releases in March since we're two weeks away from it and I would think that they would want to market/advertise the game for two months or so once they announce the release date. Maybe early April since Returnal was delayed to the end of the month.

Oddworld had a new trailer the other day and it was confirmed that it is coming out this year but no release window was given.

I'm not expecting Horizon 2 this year. If we get it, great but im not expecting it. If it is 2022, it would most likely be early in the year.

So this is the problem I’m having. It allows me to play the PS4 version but on the ps5 version it says “trial” as in es access trial. I start the ps5 version and I’m still getting the timer as if I’m playing the 10 hour trial. Then it locks up on the Lamar load screen. I’ve tried calling both EA and just now PlayStation support and no one knows how to fix it. This is borderline comedy and just ridiculous.

I had a similar problem with fifa. It gave me the 10 hour trail and once it expired it gave me the full ps5 version.

Wow...I hope that’s the actual solution. I’ll leave it running in the background until it runs out. I’ll let you know if it works. Madden 21 has been so bad this year I don’t why I care to try it on the ps5 lol..

Is there a reason you do not want to play out the Trial? Or do you just want to get passed it to see if that is the fix.

The trial doesn’t work. It starts loading the Lamar opening video then the bar never fully loads up and it stays on that screen. So I want to try letting the 10 hours burn to see if it finally lets me play the ps5 version of the game. Hopefully that’s the fix. Sony definitely needs to fix these quirks and other current issues. Also, start allowing the SSD port because 600 gigs fills up too fast. I already own it on the series x, but wanted to see what the difference was with the ps5 controller.

I had the same problem with Xbox. Could never play the trial. Just got stuck on the Lamar screen. Never was able to figure it out.

With my fifa problem it was a disk and made me do the trail which was digital. Usually digital and physical is the same as the disk is just a key to unlock it. It doesn’t read anything off of it other than to make sure you have it.

I would be very surprised if Kena is on PS Plus because I believe this game will sell very well and has a lot of potential. Oddworld isn't for me but it does in fact look great. It's almost March and we still haven't seen any gameplay for Horizon 2 so I don't see it releasing this year but we'll see. Also, I do believe that PS5 consoles being available for sale where you can just "buy one" will have an affect on what Sony chooses to do.


On a related side not, I received the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition bundle early this morning and it's all setup and ready to go. Will play it once I wrap up The Division 2 base game which will be in a few days. So by next weekend, I will be playing Miles Morales.

On the Xbox EA provided a fix. Go into the game’s saved data and delete it. Then restart the game and it worked. On the PlayStation they said delete the game and re-download it and it should fix the issue but it’s hasn’t for me.

The disc downloads the PS4 version with no issues but no matter what when I hit the 3 dots and select view product it allows me to download what I believe is the next gen version but then after the download it says “trial” on the top. I signed up for EA access about a week ago and since the trial wouldn’t work I deleted madden from my ps5 and rented madden 21 from GameFly to try it out. For some reason the system won’t let me play next gen version. It still thinks I’m doing the trial. Telling you it makes no sense.

Yeah I dont see Kena being a ps+ game either has it looks to good and its the first game by that studio to. Its just odd that we have not been told about a delay yet but also where told it was still on track like a week or so ago would think they would say no its not on track any more if it was getting delayed again but yeah I am expecting it to get pushed back again. I hope you enjoy miles Morales and your ps5. With Horizon forbidden west if its like a November game that is still like 9 months or so away that is a good amount of time they could even wait to like June to show gameplay if they wanted to.

None of my USB ports work in rest mode. My headset will not charge unless the ps5 is running. Hmmm. Yes. I have it enable on the ps5.
