P Account Hacked/Someone Bought Game

Going through my email and noticed that just a few minutes before someone purchased Spider Man for my account. I went in and removed the credit card cancelled number and am getting a new card.

I was not on the PS4. Noticed there was an email saying there was a login from another device. I am disputing the charge. At any rate I can't find an email address to talk to Sony or a phone that is up today.

Anyone have this problem before and if you did how did you resolve this with Sony?

Two Step Verification is the best thing you can put on your account. I will text every-time with a code to access anything on your account.

Disputing the charge with your bank will result in Sony suspending your psn account. You need to contact Sony to dispute. Also enable 2fa on your account.

Thanks for the info. I got the charge reversed email from Sony and rescinded the dispute with my CC company. How can this happen in the first place? Since the purchase was made for my console could someone actually play the game on their console? I deleted all credit card info on my console so this shouldn't be able to happen again I would imagine?

I never use a CC on any system. I just use the pre-paid cards.
Even with that you should make sure, like others have said, that you use 2fa.
In your case I would also make sure to change your PSN password.

This , I do it as well. If anyone tries to log on from a different location or device I get a text. Without the text no log on is possible.

Hey thanks for the replies. I immediately changed my password and removed my CC from the wallet. Sony has already refunded my credit card. So I guess some jagbag thought it would be funny to buy a game for me that he couldn't even play?
