Especially since the heavy hitters aren't ready yet they are offering a ton IMO. I'm a Game Pass addict for life now. I can cheaply keep the subscription and play tons of games. I wouldn't afford to game otherwise on PS5

Guardians of the Galaxy game looks really good.

Looks like we are getting a pixel remaster of all of the old (pre FF7) Final Fantasy games. Hope these are done well. I know that at least for FF6 the original port to Steam was not great.

Edit - It's disappointing how many FF games are made for Mobile now. Final Fantasy First Soldier was looking like a must buy until they showed it was for ios/android.

Edit 2 - Full action Final Fantasy Origin game looked good, and it's being made by Team Ninja. The dialogue though...I'm already tired of the protagonist saying "chaos".

Extremely disappointed that we didn't get anything on FF16 at all, and that Forspoken was only mentioned in a montage of other upcoming games.

square enix 4 out of 10 slightly better than xbox but not to good. Only like 45 minutes long and like 20 spent on Guardians and no update on forspoken and no TR news.

The main theme of Xbox's conference was to show the value of Gamepass. Which it did. To get those games day one at no added cost, is a big seller. If I was on Xbox, I would get GamePass. I would love Sony to do a PS Plus/PSNow bundle. Most of the Xbox games weren't for me, but it is still a great value. Never played Far Cry and don't know the art style, but it looks like a last gen game(PS4/XB1) that received a "next gen patch". I did think we would see a few more non-exclusive 3rd party games. But the focus was obviously Gamepass.

Something we have to take into consideration with E3/Summer of Gaming, is the impact of pandemic. Over the past 15 months, game development has took a hit. So anything that wasn't close to being finished, got pushed back. I wouldn't expect a normal flow until late 2022 and on

Announced date for Console release of Flight Simulator - July 27th!

New next - generation IPs - Saw more than a few that looked good. Console maybe a must buy for next holiday season if not sooner

I do wonder what 2k will show tomorrow. Take Two's presser is slotted for 55 minutes tomorrow. So, I do wonder how much of 2k Sports we'll see. I don't expect PGA. NBA2K will be very minimal outside of Cover and release window. Definitely will see WWE. I don't expect the NFL game.

I was pretty disappointed by the Starfield trailer. I thought it was awful. The first 30 seconds of 2:18 trailer didn't even show anything. Hope we get something better soon.

I'm just not interested in anything that's pre-rendered. Nice to have a target date, but will care more about Starfield when it gets closer.

The nice thing about Game Pass is I don't have to worry or get hyped about games, I just get to enjoy them whenever they release. Good or bad I'm not out the money.

Holy hell, MS Flight Sim.

And free with gamepass. And also closer to coming out than I thought. I have it on PC, but don't have the graphics card to push it to 4K and get a good frame rate.

I wonder if they will sell DLC packs for airports and terrain, or will everything be in the game day one?

Exactly...I would buy so few games because of the risk at 70 bucks tbh. Now I don't worry and enjoy. Plus other 3rd party games tend to drop on it eventually

Game pass is worth every penny and then some. Best thing to come out of subscription services by far.

Doesn't seem like anything game reveal releated. More about diversity, empowerment, etc.
