But all of that is supposed to have been there since the before 1980.

So the girl who is the daughter of the guy who owns Widmore labs or whatever, which is the company that made the pregnancy test Sun used now knows where the island is.

But my question is how? Is Widmore behind Dharma and Hanso? Was this entire thing a huge setup to try and find Des? And if so, how did Penny Widmore clear all of this so that Mr. Widmore didn't know it was a huge plan to find his daughter's lost love?

I think my head is going to explode.

Can't wait to see what the fansites dig up on this one. There has to be some huge stuff under the covers that we missed.

It doesn't explain why some people's illnesses have gone away though. (jack from wheelchair to walking person, rose is healthy, etc.)

I mean I think it finally explained how the plane crashed, maybe what the purpose of the Island is but when the hatch blew up, are the three all dead and what about Jack, Sawyer and such? I could go on.

Really confusing but just an excellent finale.

Her father may have invested in Dharma, but I think Penny is just looking for him. She could of found out about what her father could have done in sending D there.

I heard one of the producers say that they aren't in pergatory and the final explanation for everything is feasible and won't be something considered 'supernatural'.

I missed bits and peices of that episode but I'll definately have to watch it again.

What kills me about this whole series is that so many of them learn something but refuse to tell others. "Oh by the way, I found another hatch". Start talking to each other!

How does Pen know about the electro magnetic pulse that the island can send out? Did her father finally realise that she loved Desmond and would never move on so he told her some stuff?

Is Desmond dead?

Will Michael and Walt make it back home. Or more importantly will they stay off the show? I hope so as both of them are extremely annoying.

What's up with that giant foot?

This show is crazy. I love it but every episode answers one question and then raises 4 new ones.

My guess is that strong blast of electromagnetism cured them, just like it seems to have cured Charlie's deafness.

And if Des, Locke and Ecko are dead, how as Charlie able to get far enough away from the blast if he took the backway out of the hatch, climbing up the ladder and all?

Absolutely agree. It did exactly what it was supposed to do, answered some questions, and setup a whole slew of other questions for S3.

There is no possible way that the door of the Swan hatch, which was laying on the ground, could have been blown that far, unless the entire ground was blown up. It has to be from another hatch getting blown up from the pressure.

Maybe they are just all in a big gigantic hatch somewhere under the pacific. I have no idea where they are or what is going on there. And what is with that four toed statue? Is it a ruin from Atlantis or some crazy thing? Geez.

I'm very confused myself after watching this finale. I think they did a very good job setting things up for next season, but what it's like they tied up some loose ends and started up some new ones.

A few theories that I have had over the last 2 seasons:

At first I thought that they were all caught between life and death.

Now I almost am starting to believe that this whole test facility and everything going on with the island could be a big test being conducted by some psychologists.

Another theory that I have thought of and someone brought it up earlier is that there have been more than one plane crash, and the "The Others" collect all of the good people while capturing the bad and killing them.
