Last.fm
Is there a way to turn the feature off, so like when your brother or someone else is using the media player, Last.fm doesn't keep track of what they played?

Re: Last.fm
I think I figured out a way to turn the plug-in off completely. Oh well, if it doesn't work, I'll just delete whatever my brother listens to.
Cool site though.

Re: Last.fm
Definitely, nothing cooler than being able to see stuff like your most played artist of a week's time.Originally posted by ActLikeYouKnow8Cool site though.
Even cooler is the amount of people in the community who can produce awesome stuff like this...

lol
If anybody is interested, I started up a "Creed Sucks" group. I would have joined an existing one, if one had existed.

Re: Last.fm
Last.fm is a feature you download as a plug-in for whichever media player you use. You plug-in last.fm into your media player and it keeps track of what songs you play, how often you play, which songs/artists you've played the most, etc. There's also a radio feature you can download, but I have not yet downloaded that one yet.Originally posted by abates21what exactly is last.fm? I checked out the website, looks pretty cool

I just signed up 10 minutes ago.Originally posted by abates21what exactly is last.fm? I checked out the website, looks pretty cool
It's a site that keeps track of what you listen to on your computer. You pick the program you use to listen to music(WinAmp, WMP, ect) and it downloads a plugin that keeps track of your songs you play. Once a song plays halfway through, it sends that info to the site and your profile is updated.
Click on any one of the links in the profiles here to see what it keeps track of.
There are also other features sure as a radio and groups to join and such. At the basic level it just keeps track of your listening habits, but there is a lot more to get into if you choose.Comment

Since Creed currently consists of 0.5% of my tracks played, I don't think I qualify for membership.Originally posted by ActLikeYouKnow8lol

Re: Last.fm
Three? Try Thirty. Well, actually not that many. Eighteen, I believe, is what the unique plays would be by my count.Originally posted by ActLikeYouKnow8What were the three songs?
Allusion
Beautiful
Bullets
Don't Stop Dancing
Illusion
In America
My Own Prison
Ode
One Last Breath
Sister
Stand Here With Me
To Whom It May Concern
Unforgiven
Weathered
What If
What's This Life For
With Arms Wide Open
Wrong Way

However, as you can tell by my iTunes library, there is more than enough Creed in there.

I'm in, although I don't think they are the worst band in the world(they had a couple of good songs on their first album), their attitudes, spoken words and actions just make it really hard not to hate them. I would have been fine with them being another mostly crappy band of the time period, but they really stuck their heads out there at times by being idiots.Originally posted by ActLikeYouKnow8lol

Re: Last.fm
Sorry, added one another zero when doing the math.
Looks like you don't qualify after all, lol.

Re: Last.fm
I agree. I feel the same way about other bands, such as Linkin Park, but I don't feel the need to create a "LP sucks" group because they aren't doing the Jesus Christ Pose.Originally posted by CM1847I'm in, although I don't think they are the worst band in the world(they had a couple of good songs on their first album), their attitudes, spoken words and actions just make it really hard not to hate them. But I think Creed definitely recieved too much credit for what they did.
