    There are HDTVs that have BOTH built in.. DirecTV and HD receiver. No box needed... RCA made/makes them and maybe some others.

    WHile not an option I would choose, it is/was available.

      He has an RCA and maybe that is why he thought he could get the signal. No go though. You wonder why they don't make em standard and the STB as an extra luxury option or something.

                  That is what I have, you can get Direct TV Hd channels and regular over the air channels with that box.

                        My brother ordered the SIR TS-360 I believe. Is that just an upgraded model of your Heelfan?

                        Never mind. I think it is the new Sammy that D*TV is giving out with the HD package. I've heard of many bugs with the model you have Heel. How doesn yours work?
