Seems to be a good tv. What kind of features do you want though? Make sure it has them. Sammy's are great tv's actually.

Well, its not a sammy(thats samsung right), its a panasonic, my initial post was a bit unclear.
I meant to say that i loved the way the TV looked cosmetically, and i was wondering if it was as good technically, since you HD buffs can probably look at it and assess its value from those specs that lose me.
Basically, i plan to pay around 2000 for a TV and i want to make sure that im not overlooking a much better TV just because this one looks nicer.
one thing i gathered from reading this thread was about 480p,1080i and 720p, i dont think 720p is native to this brand, so are there other TVs in the 2K price range with 720native and how critical is 720 that i should base a purchase decision over it?

Hey man, ive got my eye set on the 46" model of the exact same tv. After reading many customer reviews, and checking out the competition(like a sony 46" with 720p) ive decided this is the on i wana get when i have enough money. Its a goood choice man.Comment

Meennnnn, decisions decisions...the price just DROPPED over the weekend on their website to 1550 from 2000. I was planning to buy this in a month, but maybe i should get it now!!, i am afraid the sale is gonna end soon, what is a closeout sale? and why would they have one? oh well...Comment
