    Re: Harmony Remote = AMAZING

    Ahh. Maybe that's why I don't understand... I don't have anything remotely (no pun intended) close to a Home Theater setup. Just a 27" Panasonic color tube in the family room, and this "entertainment room" has a 13" thingamabobber.

    I gotta start investing for after college.

      If you have a TV that has a bunch of different input settings within the same button and multiple buttons.

      Button PC -> Analog Digital
      Button AV -> AV 1, 2, 3
      HDMi / DVI -> 1, 2

      I HAD to call customer service and they had to write code for my remote. Kinda sucks for me, but everything works great now!

        Glad everything worked out. I think Harmony makes some great remotes. They are expensive, but it's worth not having all those separate remotes and the simplicity of it. I know longer have to explain to company or my wife how to turn on the TV, play a movie, or whatever. Anybody can understand a remote that has a button on it that says Watch TV or Watch Movies... hopefully. The price was a concern, but I bought mine for $120 at a legit website whereas Best Buy sold the exact same remote for $200.

          I have a Pronto. I think it was about $300 but it was an xmas gift last year. Best thing ever. It has a steep learning curve but the the sky is the limit as far as what you can do with it.
