Ok my Norton Anti Virus has been expired for 3 years now but it detected a "bloodhound" virus last night. I stared getting a ridiculous amout of pop-ups and porn icons on the desktop. I did a system restore and everything seems to be working fine. Should I still be worried or does the system restore take care of it? Any suggestions?

If I were you I would uninstall Norton and download the free AVG antivirus (just google it). -

Yes, AVG is the bomb.
I got the same advice from these forums and it works. Also switched to Firefox and Firefox together with AVG.......= no popups.Comment

Internet Explorer. I tried Avg and it detected 39 viruses. Some were fixed but a lot could not be removed. One called Klone and some dealing with JavaLast edited by supremeslang; 12-23-2005, 06:13 PM.Free The Birds!!!Comment
