virus/spyware/internet security

i got some virus' and spyware last night and i spent the rest of the night cleaning my computer. there was one paticular virus that was pissing me off. finally got it off today.

my question is if

adware
spybot
norton anti-virus
cwshredder
hijack this
and trendmicor house call

all say im good to go.......am i really good to go?


BTW, norton sucks ***. its all ive had for a cuple of years now and i havent had a problem like i did yesterday in a long *** time. ----ing porn. porn is the devil.

so......i downloaded pc-cillin a while back but never installed it. stuck with norton. should i just make the switch now? (please answer my first question though)

norton is garbage, it finds virii, tells u about it, but does nothin about it..


i use NOD32 for antivirus protection (never got anyproblems... updated daily), spybot search & destroy for adware/spyware, and Peer Guardian to block bad packets.

CCleaner is another very useful program. I use it everytime I close my browser. It works very well to clean up your registry.

Crap Cleaner is great. I free up at times 21 MB of space on my PC with just one clean.
