    iTunes Q

Okay. I have a Creative MP3 player. I get a gift certificate to iTunes. I've gotten some tracks off of iTunes and I want to put them on my Creative mp3 player. How do I do it? Do I have to burn them to a CD-RW and then rip them back?

You can convert the songs to mp3 in iTunes. Just go to advanced, then convert. Hope that helps.

It won't let me convert to mp3, it says "convert to AAC."

Yeah you will have to burn and rip unfortunately. Itunes won't let you convert protected tracks, I'm sure.

what you do is go to the Itunes store and then go down the left side of the screen and there will be an account section where it says iTunes music card and you should be able to go from there and download your music without having to enter your credit card. Hope this helps.

Go to edit, preferences, advanced, importing, then change the "Import Using" drop-down to MP3 encoder. Should work.

I also have a question about iTunes, all my purchased music is on my other computer, is there any way the music store will give me the songs I already bought on this pc or am I going to have to transfer my ipod over to this cpu to get the songs back?

                      That's exactly right.

You're gonna have to transfer the files over to the new computer. iTunes doesn't "resell" previously bought songs.
