I love my Ipod video and I will be keeping it for awhile. The thing is I'm in college now and I dont use my ipod video to go to class because of its size... its too big and bulky. My brother has a Nano so I know how small it is and all, I love the size of it and I love the flash drive so it doesnt skip or make any noises. I'm just trying to justify keeping the nano.. I was thinking of selling it on ebay still in the packaging. I currently use my video in my car and with my home stereo so I would probably just be using the nano for working out and going to class, do you think its worth it??
Should I keep my Nano even if I have an Ipod video

Re: Should I keep my Nano even if I have an Ipod video

If you need some cash, sell it.

But the video isn't too big to carry around to class, I carry my Creative 40GB which is bigger than the iPods and I see a ton of people carrying their full sized iPods around. People carry portable CD players around, I think you could find some room for an iPod video.

But if you only want it for very short periods of time, I would suggest selling the Nano, using some of that money to get a cheaper, smaller MP3 player you can use for working out. Just an idea, get some cash out of it and still have something to work out with.Comment

Re: Should I keep my Nano even if I have an Ipod video

Well thanks for all the replys... I'm leaning towards selling it on ebay because I'm just finding it very hard to justify having 2 ipods. I mean knowing apple they probably will have a new ipod out around summer and I dont really need the money but being a college student it's always good to start saving money for later.Comment

Re: Should I keep my Nano even if I have an Ipod video

I'd sell it. I don't see how the ipod is too small I guess comparing to the Nano it's small, but it's still smaller than pretty much any other mp3 player.

I'm kinda in the same situation I have a Dell DJ and recently won a Toshiba Gigabeat and not sure what to do. I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell the Gigabeat, but i'm not sure if I should sell the DJ too and get an ipod video or the new creative video player or just sell the Gigabeat and keep the DJ. Both either way i'd have no use for 2 mp3 players.Yankees

do you really need a device for walking to class.

maybe im just not into too much music, but you cant you live without a music device for 3-4 hours out of the day.

i say keep the video one and sell the other.Comment

Ya, I'm having a hard time getting it through my head how the Ipod Video could be too big for anyone.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

It's not too big, but compared to the nano its big and basically I'm recieving a nano for free so I'm deciding to keep it or not but I dont think I am.Originally posted by bgenoYa, I'm having a hard time getting it through my head how the Ipod Video could be too big for anyone.Comment

Just sell the Nano, that's some good money. Especially when you're in college.Originally posted by PSUIt's not too big, but compared to the nano its big and basically I'm recieving a nano for free so I'm deciding to keep it or not but I dont think I am.

You can still carry the video Ipod around, it's not like it's too big to fit in your pocket.Xbox 360 GamertagRAW 910
