iPod Question

I recently d/l some new music, and the first time I downloaded I simply plugged the USB into my iPod and it uploaded the music onto it, this time however it doesn't appear to be doing so and it won't allow me to click the Update iPod button, is it updating and just not looking like it is or is there something I need to be doing?

Try resetting your iPod while it is plugged into the computer (hold down the center button and Menu). If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer.

In my experience, this problem (iTunes not recognizing the iPod) happens every once in a while, and I don't really know the cause of it or a permanent solution. The above two things work for me most of the time though, and when they don't I just wait until later to update the iPod and it works, for whatever reason.

I had mine trip out and go into hard drive mode and I couldn't get out of it until I reset it...luckily apple had it easy to find, cause I had no clue...that usually solves your problem
