Have you tried unistalling the AR and then reinstalling it again?

I had the exact same problem because i lost my action replay mem card. I borrowed a microsoft one off a buddy to download the OS college hoops roster and i couldn't get it to recognise it. I went to the codemasters website and did everyting it said to do (have you tried that?) but it still didn't work for me. I downloaded a patch they had available and made sure i had the proper drivers but I eventually gave up after trying for ages.

It was weird cause i used the Datel one countless times and never had a problem but the official microsoft one wouldn't work for me.
