My Friends and I looking to spend this summer filiming a low-budget Student Film for fun. And I'm looking to bounce the idea off people to see if it is funny.(Obviously, I'm the writer)...The Parts you are going to read actually from a copyrighted screenplay, Copyright 2005...because I used this idea for a scholarship competition screenwriting project, and my English teacher advised me to copyright it first for my protection after I told him that I might make a comic book or movie with it.

The Idea: 4 Teenager superheroes...the "Choctaw Posse" use their powers to defeat the mind-controlling hypnotist the Validictorian (Played by our classes actual validcitorian).
i have four main characters...all centered on and based off of the friend who will be playing them...which I think aids in the comedy.
First, My character, the group leader...I'm a dork and slightly athletic.
"Hi I'm Donnie. As a small imigrant child from the country of Oregon; I learned I had the uncanny ability to shapeshift. My Superhero Codename....The *Shapeshifter*"
Chracter to 2...played my best "gal pal" who is very goofy
"Hi I'm (Insert her real name here), and I might be moderately psychotic. i wake up in strange places because of my super power. I'm a teleporter and everyone calls me...(Her real name again)."
Character 3: Played by my best friend who is 5'10" 200 pounds and BUILT. He is also an athlete and very blunt.
"Ok, I'm (His real name). 8th period of my freshman year I walked right into my power. My sensei Senora Bobb taught me how to instantly translate from Spanish to English and English to Spanish. They call me....The Hombre."
Character 4: Played by my very large...300+ pound jolly fat friend who has a little bit of an odor.
"Allow myself to introduce myself..I am The (Inset first middle and last name here). Just last thursday I discovered I had a little bit of a weight problem. Unbeknownst to me I had the ability to think of food and make it appear. My friends call me..(Licks Thumb)..Doctor Food."
So those are my superheroes. The movie will be about our efforts to save the world from the Validictorian using or superpowers. If you want to know more about it just let me know and I will give you moe information. I just want to see if a wide base of an audience might actually enjoy it rather than just my group of friends.
