Whats the difference between an Authentic Jersey and a Replica Jersey?

I found a good Texas Jersey but the replica is 50 and the Authentic is a 70.

Is the Authentic really worth it? Can you tell the difference? Does it really matter if youre wearing an replica or not? Am I better off saving 20 bucks?

Screen printed jerseys have that plastic-y/rubbery crap printed on as numbers and letters. Authentic (and "Swingman" & "EQT" jerseys) have numbers and letters that are sorta like patches sewn on instead of printed on

actually thats not entirely true. Texas' authentics are screen printed. all the fakes on ebay are sewn on and have those crappy shiney numbers.

Well since you're a Texas fan, get a Roy Williams authentic Texas jersey. They're like $80. Comes with a bowl patch and the name and everything.

Im gonna try and buy a Texas #10 Authentic Jersey. Could I possibly go to a store and get the letters sewn or printed? A Reose Bowl patch would be tight could i buy one of those anywhere?

In a year or two they'll have the authentic Vince Youngs with the Rose Bowl patch. I'm pretty sure they sell regular Texas jerseys with the Rosebowl patch but it is most likely screen printed on. I thinkg you'll need to be around Texas though to find one of those. You can also try Ebay.
