For the like last 3 days off and on..I've been hearing like a groaning noise coming from my CPU Tower. Can anyone help me out on what the problem might be if there is one?

Mine makes it all the time... but its because my CPU is right in front of the baseboards where my heat comes out of. Basically I've been told its just the fan overheating. Is yours near any heating source?
