Hard Drive question
I have a 100gb internal that was 90% full. I just installed a 300gb external and put all my movies, pics and music on the external. Now when I open programs, they open up faster. Is it in my head, or having less crap on my main internal drive affect the speed ??My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Hard Drive question
it was $139.95 on ebay. Shipping was $20 so a little over $160.

For you guys that have upgraded and put your old 20gb or 40gb aside. You can get a external USB drive casing for around $25. This will allow you to put that old drive in and use it as a external drive. Then you can upgrade to 120gb or 200gb or whatever at any time.
Just a tip.Last edited by e0820; 01-07-2006, 11:27 PM.Comment
