i have cox cabel and you only get 3 hd channels? i hope your over exagerating, because the line up is CBS, Fox, ABC, NBC, WB, PBS, INHD1, INHD2, ESPN, TNT, DiscoveryHD, UniversalHD, HBO, Showtime and Starz. If you have an HDTV, you have to get this and its more than just 3 channels.

Edit - I think you must be talking about a specific cox or comcast box in that S-Video is the best output option they have.
S-Video is top of the line for older sets. Your flow chart is correct for newer TV's and HDTV's.

Mike, you get TNT and WB in HD? How long have you had those in the HD lineup? I have cox, and I have all those except NBC, FOX, WB, and TNT. I know why I don't have NBC and FOX (crappy affiliates in my area), but would like to know about WB and TNT.

yeah WB shows include Smallville and other main primetime shows. But TNT is actually one of the best HD channels, because NBA games are ALWAYS in HD unlike ESPN. And also all the cool movies like Lord of the Rings or Spiderman are always in HD. Actually to think about it, every single program on TNT is in HD....i love that channel.

As far as how long, WB has been out for two years for us, and TNT was not too long ago, maybe less than a year i believe.
