There's a trailer on this site as well. The blogger is supposed to be Kevin Smith and it looks like he updates the site frequently.

The first Clerks was hilarious IMO. I'm definately looking forward to this one.

I dunno, If he takes the small film with not so great production values approach to the film like the first one then maybe he can re-capture the atmosphere of the original.

Then again it's been so long since the first one that it's almost like the old saying "you can never go home again".

I'll be checking it out. I really can't see how he could mess it up as long as he stays true to the characters and the original

I guess the Jay and Silent Bob thing hasn't grown stale on me. Although "Clerks" and "Mallrats" are the only 2 movies I've seen them in. Never saw any of the others.

Although it's going to be very hard to top the original IMO. I'll definately see it, but like the first one, it won't be at the theater.

Can't wait for this, never got stale to me, the latter movies were just as funny as the earlier ones, although Clerks and Mallrats are still the kings.

My order would be

1. Mallrats
2. Clerks
3. Dogma
4. Chasing Amy
5. Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back

Anyone ever see where Kevin Smith lectures at different colleges around the US? it was more a comedy show than a lecture but it was hilarious how he explained different stories of his movies and his experiences...but i can never find it after seeing part of it once. does anybody know what i'm talking about?

I own that, it's like 4 hours long, on 2 discs. He was here locally doing one of the ones at Kent State and one of my buddies is on that DVD, he asks the Prince question.
