      There's no question that Ken Olson was a buffoon for saying that about desktop computers (in terms of lost opportunity to be a billionaire), but in fairness to him, his idea was that there was no point in having a desktop computer when one could just have a "smart" monitor in their house that connected them to the world via distributed networks.
      He may yet be right because I can definitely see inter-connected PDA's becoming more and more intertwined with day to day life in the future.

      Even I'm interested in obtaining a BlackBerry that utilizes Google Maps/Google Earth. That would be rad.
