Meh,
wouldn't this apply to using CD walkmen and such?
This isn't such a HUGE problem IMO. I'm sure people used to listen to walkmen back in the 1980s with the same kind of prevalence and I haven't heard of people of that era having hearing problems.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Well, the way it was written, it's as if even if the volume is medium, it still may cause a problem.
My sister is giving me her Nano, as she bought a 30 gig Ipod video, so I'm glad I found this article.Comment

And anybody who has their MP3 player loud enough that the people around them can hear it, those are the people who are going to have problems.
