    How I Met Your Mother

I know there was an old thread about it in the Everything Else forum.

Anybody still watching the new episodes? This is really the only show I have to watch, something about it I like.

Good episode tonight, looks like Ted and this girl Victoria are the ones who are getting married. There have been some odd twists in the show though, so you never know.

Barney's still the best character on the show. :y4:

His name will always be doogie...doesn't matter what new show he's on.

This show is great. But did any one else remember on the first episode when he met Robin. He told his kids, that's how he met their Mom's sister. Maybe I misunderstood or something but I don't think so. That would prolly be giving away way to much.

I know the narrator referred to her as "Aunt Robin" ot his kids. I just took the "Aunt" part as an affectionate name to call a close friend of the family.

            That's what I was thinking.

My dad's frat buddy is someone I call "uncle" even though he and my dad aren't related.

I would guess it is. They also call the Doogie character "Uncle Barney"

It's pretty common these days anyway. My kids only have 1 Aunt (my wife's Sister), but they have about 8 or 10 people that they call Aunt _______.

Yeah I didn't think of that. I guess that means he doesn't marry Robin.

Yeah, he definitely doesn't marry Robin, that was given away on the first episode. Anyways, I really like this show. The only thing I don't like sometimes are Alysson Flanigan and her husband, sometimes I think they just act stupid. Sometimes its funny and sometimes i'm just like what the hell?

I like this show. I have watched every episode. CBS pretty much has me tuned in from 8-9:30 on Monday nights.

Two and a Half men is great too. They took Out of Practice off the air though, even though it was the least funny of the lineup it was still good. They filled it with that Jenna Elfman show that they won't stop advertising. She's back, but did anybody really miss her? They advertise the show like a bigtime celebrity is coming out of retirement to do a sitcom for CBS, lol.

Sounds like me. I watch CBS a lot (CSI's, Two and a Half Men, How I met Your Mother etc....) and everytime I see that Jenna Elfman commercial I wonder how she got back on TV. I never thought she was good in Dharma and Greg (the little I saw of it).

Yeah, although the husband (I forget his name) going crazy about the cake was funny. Cake is so good.
