I honestly think the hardest line to analyze, no matter what you're looking for, is the "I have one, but you have several" line. I don't know exactly what this one means at all.

Ok guys, prove yourselves. I couldn't figure this one out, and I'm usually good at these (my friend sent it to me).



One man has six of them, two men have 8.
If women have them, they are halved.
If children use them, they have 18.
I have none, but you have several.
They are red at day and black at night.



Any guesses? It's obviously some sort of wordplay. I've thought of syllables, age, teeth... anything! I'm completely stumped. Any OSers up for the challenge?

Gotta try working backwards I'd think. What is red at day and black at night? I thought of eyelids, chins (fat men??),.....dang, I'm stumped. I'm definitely going to keep any eye on this thread. Could use this for the "brotherhood" on the real.

I don't know. It sounds like one of those riddles where over time it got repeated wrong. Thus, there is no answer that'll fit the way it is currently presented.
