    DVD - Just Like Heaven/Elizabethtown

I'm looking foward to getting both DVD's next Tuesday.

I've already seen Just Like Heaven and really enjoyed it. Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorite movie stars. The DVD extras look solid with deleted scenes, bloopers, making of featurette, and audio commentary with the director.

I haven't seen Elizabethtown but I know most critics hated it. The DVD features look pretty slim so I'm pretty sure a special edition will come out later. I think Cameron Crowe's a good director and I'm pretty sure I'll like this film.

Just Like Heaven is going to be one of my wife's Valentine's Day gifts. She really loved that movie and is a big fan of RW. I thought it was a pretty funny movie too. Ruffalo cracks me up with he laid back style of comedy, and Jon Heder and RW had a pretty funny scene together.

The movie is basically a partial rip-off of Ghost but it was still really enjoyable.

Heder was barely in the movie. I don't think he had more than 5 mins of screentime. I was disappointed Calling All Angels by Train wasn't in the movie (the song was in the trailer).

Ruffalo has shown he can pull of the romantic comedy's. I liked him in 13 Going on 30.

Not sure if it is considered a romantic comedy or not(a really backwards one if it is), but he was good in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Elizabethtown was a huge letdown. Looks like the critics were right this time. The movie was boring. Kirsten Dunst is still annoying and the DVD features were pathetic.

I know Crowe cut a lot of footage out after the Toronto Film Festival so I'm sure there will be a directors cut coming out in the future with commentary.

Yea, my mom rented that last night. I left the room after about 20 minutes.

The first half an hour was pretty slow, but I thought the rest of the movie was really good. Seemed rushed a bit, but underrated...

I watched Elizabethtown last night with my wife, I thought it was good. I thought the characters in it were good and unique. I'd watch it again.

Watched Elizabethtown with my girl. The first few minutes I wasn't feeling it at first but I eventually stuck it out. Honestly, I enjoyed the heck out of that movie. I'm glad that I picked it up. It's kind of on the same lines as the pianist for me seeing that I could relate to the guy and his loss. He still stuck it through and learned to cope. Liked the ending also. I'd recommend it as a cuddle movie. Was pretty nice to watch. Worth the time. I'll be checking out Just Like Heaven when it gets in at the library.

I prefer Elizabethtown over Garden State.

I was flipping through my DVD Binder yesterday and was actually thinking about giving Elizabethtown another chance. It looks a special edition with more features was never released.

I had high hopes because it was a Cameron Crowe film and it simply didn't meet my expectations. While I want to give it a 2nd viewing, I have too many other movies to watch right now.

I thought Elizabethtown's concept was pretty good, but the movie just fell flat. I love Kirsten Dunst but thought she overacted in this one. Bloom was dreadfully ordinary.

I haven't seen Elizabethtown, but I might have to see it now. I absolutely loved Garden State, so if you think Elizabethtown is better, I am going to have to see it.

Garden State is probably in my top 5 movies of all time. Zach Braff did a fantastic job with the film.

Trust me, I'm in the VERY small minority that share those thoughts so just take that comment as a grain of salt.
