    Grandpa Munster dies

    http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/0....ap/index.html

I love the munsters, especially grandpa. About 2 years ago, I spent a weekend with Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster (dont ask why I spent 2 days with Eddite Munster, its a long story!), and he had said that Al Lewis was always awesome on the set, and loved sports. The munsters will always hold a spot in my heart, as it was so original, and the characters were amazing. RIP grandpa.

Never was a big fan of "The Munsters". Still sad though.

wow, I actually figured he was dead a long time ago. Also shocked to find out the Munsters show only ran for 2 years (1964-66)

Nah, he was a vibrant old coot..... He had this restaurant in Greenwich Village that I used to go to sometimes, and he was notorious for hanging out and schmoozing with the patrons... Dude got a lot out of those 95 years....

Wednesday from the movie is on Grey's Anatomy ironically. Sorry to see that he died though.
