Why does everyone say that; two groups coming out of NC doesn't mean anything. I like little brother just as much as the next guy, but backpackers need to stop riding 9th wonder's dick. Sure he's made some great beats, but the dude is one-dimentonal as a producer.

70's soul sample + rugged 90's NYC percussion = 9th wonder. If you guys think I'm wrong or ignorant, by all means let me know. It's just the more I hear 9th, the more his beats sound the same. I really like what he did on 3:16, so the murs album is an automatic purchase for me; but I wish 9th wasn't the only producer on the album. I use to LOVE Murs with EL-P on The Beginning of the End.

Listen to some of the newer little brother or justus league stuff and some of his instrumental albums, he has really changed his style.

they do have the same feel to them , and his bass is non-existant . if you want a song with a good baseline , never go to 9th wonder. . but i still like him. i still love his mellow beats. i dont think u can compare the beginning of the end to the 9th edition. the 9th edition was much better.

No doubt, I'm just saying I use to love Murs with EL-P. 3:16 is in my top 10 hiphop albums of all-time.

There are other rappers and producers coming out of NC other than Little Brother.

Khrysis makes fire beats, and Supastition is a really slept on emcee from Charlotte.
