    Prince

    So, after watching his performance on SNL, I'm interested in picking up some of his music up. I ordered Purple Rain and Dirty Mind and am wondering if Prince has any albums that are more to the rock/psychadelic pop side than electronic & synth?

              I'm not a big fan of greatest hits collections and I doubt they would do Prince justice or give me a good idea of what to expect from his albums.

                  Around the World in a day is his most rock/psychadelic album and one of his most underated.

                      Thanks, I'll look into that one after Prince's new album comes out next month.

                          1999 and Sign 'O' the Times are good albums too. The Love Symbol album isn't bad either. Like I mentioned in the SNL thread, Purple Rain is his best in my opinion. Not a ton of songs on it but they're great ones.

                              Those 2 Hits Albums are really good and they capture his career up to the point that those were released.

                                      I have never liked some songs he's done and then there has been some I like. But anyways his new song Black Sweat is good.
