Ever bought from this website/thoughts on this computer?

I have never built a computer before and I'd rather not make my first attempt my main computer (which I also use for my home business). I'm looking at this website to get it from: http://www.buydirectpc.com/

I'm specifically looking at the DA-900 on this page: http://www.buydirectpc.com/page-amd-computer.htm

Anyone every bought from that website? Any input on that computer? I'm planning on doing some customizing but any feedback would be appreciated.

I have built countless computers and by today's standards they are childs play. The basic rule when building your own compter is asking yourself am I going to use it to play games or use it for work?

If you decide to go for the packaged systems I would say go with a reputable compter vendor like Dell, Gateway, MIcron, Compaq or Apple.

If you compare apples and oranges (no pun intended) you get more for your money from a "company who will likely stand behind the product" and will be in business in 2-3 years. That's why so many choose Dell whether you love em or hate em. Plus they usually have some outrageous deals happening all the time. You just need to call an ask them. I've seen them selling computers with LCD monitors included for $599.

p.s. if you want to check out a companies online reputation go to http://www.resellerratings.com and type in their name. It's like ebay where you'll see lots of feedback for that company.
