Prince performance on past Saturday Night Live - WOW
SNL is not really very funny anymore but I still usually watch it I guess because not much else is on that late on Saturday. Anyways, last weekend Prince was on there and did a song that was just AWESOME called Fury. It’s pretty sad state of affairs that Prince at age 40 or 50 or whatever outrocks 99% of the bands around today. And watch it even if you don’t like Prince, to me this song sounds more like Jimmy Hendrix than any Prince I’ve ever heard, it’s bluesy, new Orleans-ish sounding.
Anyways, check this video clip out in the link below – and if you’re at work or whatever be sure to have your headphones on and/or the volume not too loud because when you go to this link the video starts playing right away
Let me know what you guys think, I will probably buy this CD just because of how great this song is. He did a second song too but it wasn’t much like this one and had the female vocalists singing most of it.
