Arrested Development final 4 eps on Fox tonight, all-new

Just wanted to let all the AD fans know, the last four eps of the season and probably the series is airing tonight, Friday, from 8-10 p.m. EST.

There's a chance Showtime will pick the show up, but it's up to Mitchell Hurwitz, the creator of the show whether he wants to continue with it.

If these are the last few eps, I'll be sad to see the show go, as it's the funniest show I've ever seen. My favorite sitcoms on TV today would have to be: Arrested Development, the Office, Scrubs, and My Name Is Earl in that order. All of these shows are great, IMHO, but AD was the one show which has made me laugh consistently.

FOX did say the last 4 of the season, so maybe there is still some small chance they will keep it.

this is a sad day.....the show was so perfectly cast, so well written....but ultimately it might have been too smart to ever be a big hit. I'm gonna miss GOB!!!

i just bought the first two seasons and i gotta say how disapointed i am in myself how i missed out on this show for the past two years. this has become my favorite show next to the office and it has been simply amazing and probably one the most hilarious shows i've seen. I hope it keeps going.


i gotta say for myself i didn't get into the show until i got the dvds because i saw a show not knowing the characters well and i didn't "get" it at first. And maybe thats a reason why a lot of people don't get into it. i know they back track a lot in the show but its still not enough to really know the characters.

Is it advisable to watch these last four if i haven't started watching the 3rd season yet? i wish i didn't miss it the begining and now i have to wait until it comes out on dvd.

I don't think you'd be missing out on too many of the jokes if you saw the last four today. You already have a feel for the characters, and I think that's what's necessary in order to truly enjoy the show and its inside jokes.

Man, I hate Fox. How did they screw this up? This show has won awards! The didn't promote this show the right way, and they kept bumping it to different time slots, different days, cutting seasons short, etc.

The great thing about this show, is that most of the content on the jokes are from previous episodes, so when Fox is putting it on once a month, and then twice a week, and then not for 3 months, it doesn't work...

Oh well. This was arguably the greatest comedy show I have ever seen, and I won't miss a minute of tonights four final episodes.

Seriously, if you've never seen this show it really is worthing at least renting the first season DVD and giving it a try. The writing for the show honestly is unreal.

Some parts could be funny, but you're better off watching the dvds later on

i suggest renting season 1 atleast....what makes the show great is knowing the characters.

ABC is making a half-hearted attempt to get the show. They would like to get it, but they aren't realistic money wise about doing it. It is either to Showtime or gone for good.

You know Fox hates this show when they put the last 4 episodes on directly against the Olympic opening ceremony.

Hopefully they can get someone to commit to 35 episodes of AD. If they can get those 35 episodes they will eligible for syndication.

start to see it go. i will watch and enjoy the dvds as long as I can./ and stay away from the AMERICAN IDOL, OC, 24 CRAP that is on tv nowadays
