It would have been one thing if the dad stopped taping and started looking after his kid once he saw him start crying, but he didn't, he just kept on filming. The set up was funny, but I don't understand the videotaping and especially the continued taping after the kids started balling.

Of course that could be a young looking 10 year old who knew what was coming and it was a friend of his standing on a chair or something doing the taping....
That thing was just filmed on what, the eight I think the Cam was showing. This Vid is up at every video site there is. It seems to be spreading like Wildfire.

I wonder if the news is eventually going to get to it causing Mothers groups everywhere to go up in arms, saying this is a Bad father.

I'm sure it will make it to somebody who will get seriously infuriated by it and start trying to track down the jacka$$ that did it(if it was actually done by the kid's dad of course). Heck, it might get on national TV this week on the VH1 show that shows varios web clips every week. Somebody will start some action here.

It is still just really unbelievable that a kids dad could do something like that, not react at all to his child crying and then spread it on the internet. A little TOO unbelievable actually...

If that was his dad it would almost certainly create mistrust among the kid's closest loved ones, that is something that lasts a lot longer than just getting scared. If the kid finds that site on his own and all that he gets out of it is a scare, that is one thing. But if his dad sits him down, starts him on the "game" and then videotapes the whole thing, it is a completely different situation.

See that is why I agree thinking this guys is a sick F. I have a 12 year old son and a 6 year old daughter, and I could never in my life do something so traumatizing like this to them.

Those of you thinking there is nothing wrong here are either A: Young, or B: Have no young children of your own.

I would probably get in big time trouble with the law if someone did that to either of my lil' ones like this, and I found out about it. Love your children, treat them as you would want others to treat you. What he did to that young boy is dispicable.

The thing that gets me most is when the child runs to his fathers side crying, and his father doen not console him, telling him everything is going to be ok. He just continues to film, again....what an F.

But if it's a traumtic experience, which wouldn't be too far-fetched, than yes the theory still holds. And like CM said, at the very least he could end up feeling some animosity towards daddy.

Man the internet is a great tool. It helps me acclimate son to all things "old school". What year were you born Acid? Tell me as well, what year did Stripes with Chevy Chase come out, I actually saw that bad boy live, and in theatres!! hehe.

Oh man I'm getting old, Stripes is the one with a young Tom Cruise?!?

Man I'm getting old in remembering movies without using IMDB or Google, LOL.

I was born in '89, Stripes came out in '81 and Bill Murray starred in it.

I don't know if Chevy Chase was in it or not, but I remember Bill Murray.

Haha, do you think I went to look it up? It's my dad's favorite movie probably, so I've heard quotes and stuff about all my life pretty much.

And I may be young, but you're talking about the A-Team with the van.
