which would you prefer??

I am thinking of getting an apple iPod video 30GB, but im also thinking of getting a new phone, the sony ericsson w600i because of being able to listen to music and etc... Just wanted to know if you guys really like or really hate one of the two.

Personally, I'm not into the whole music on my cell. If you have a cell currently, keep it, and get the ipod.

yeah, i'm the market for both. My 2/3 year old cell is on its last leg as it can't even hold a charge for more than 24 hrs anymore, and I just want an ipod. So i'll be getting both soon. Was going with the nano but will probably end up with the 30gb video as well.

Get the iPod video. It is way more fun playing music from your iPod than your phone

I would say the ipod, all you need in a cell phone is to make calls. No matter how good the phone is at playing music it won't be as good as an ipod or any mp3 player for that matter.

first of all...battery life on cell phones sucks already...add music playing to the mix...its just going to suck that much more.

go with the ipod and being able to have all of your songs....
