yeah, it'll really come in handy around ncaa tourney time. I'm hoping for a price drop soon. Don't really have the money for it yet. I think its 300 but there is no monthly charge, which is awesome
It works great as long as you have a fast connection, dial-up is a no go. Picture quality is great, but I can still see everything fine. I travel Mon - Thurs so I use it to watch my DVR, so I can watch anything I recorded from the hotel.
Anyone can use it as long as you have the software and passwords, so it was great during the last few weeks of football season, I could watch my Sunday Ticket even when I wasn't home. Only downside is only 1 person can watch it at a time.
it's awesome that it works with DVR's. How does the controller work for the DVR? Is it just a generic controller or does it match up with your actual DVR controller?
I just found out about this and it sounds amazing. Just to clarify, if I am at my dorm room which does not get YES, but if I get this I could watch Yankee games from my dorm through my cable connection at home?

Yes, you won't get crystal clear quality, but I can watch a news/sports channel and read the ticker at the bottom of the screen fine. I watched Sunday Ticket during the holidays while away from home.
Dice,
It works with any video device, you hook it up with composite or s-video cables. Software is free and you can watch it from any pc that has the software as long as you have your ID#. It will keep track of your ID on their server, so if you don't have a static IP, like most people, it will automatically find it for you. Only downside I see, is only 1 person can view it at a time.
