does anyone know why he doesnt do sportscenter or anyhting for that matter on ESPN anymore, i always thought he was one of the best anchors on ESPN

Mayne does bits and stories for ESPN now, he also does horse racing for them as well.

Last time I saw him was during the ESPN Super Bowl pre-game show.

I always liked the Mayne Event.

A couple of the Maybe Event bits were funny, but there were others that were just terrible.

My only exposure to him is during his MAYNE EVENT segments on Countdown. Let's just say I don't really find him funny and it's very much FORCED humour.

I actually like Scott Van Pelt the best... he seems to update his catch phrases the most.
